Because you have a non-sequence range that’s relatively small (n 8), and only 2 of the numbers are invalid, I’d recommend running random on this range (2-8) and then if the result is 6 or 7, run random() again. ![]() This lesson was inspired by the following viewer. Now this article is exactly the sort of thing that keeps me coming back to Random Nerd Tutorials. It is by far the easier ways to generate random numbers in runtime.
